SCHOLARSHIPS are awarded annually to deserving residents
University Village is owned by the J.A. Wedum Foundation, a non-profit family foundation, that remains fully committed to providing safe and affordable living opportunities for students.
The J.A. Wedum Foundation is pleased to offer a University Village Resident Scholarship program titled “Foundation for Education.”
Through this program, the Foundation has established scholarships totaling $30,000 annually that will be awarded to ten (10) full-time University of Minnesota students who reside at University Village. These scholarships are based on student grades, community service and leadership, as well as financial need.
The J.A. Wedum Foundation also owns the Keeler Apartments on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota's main campus. Scholarship opportunities are also offered to Keeler residents.
