I am very proud to be an UV resident throughout my fellowship year. UV made my fellowship year more meaningful and successful. As a Hubert H Humphrey Fellow, I have to accomplish some mandatory studies and networking. The UV makes me feel I have a home in the US. Later I found out that the UV is the best accommodation program among 19 Humphrey Programs through out the United States in terms of Security, Accessibility, Maintainence, Responsiveness and Hospitality of the staff.

Lorien and the staff at University Village were extremely helpful and accommodating!  When my daughter became uncomfortable with her living situation,  Lorien offered her the opportunity to move to another apartment, with the added benefit of using the compatibility survey. The selection process really worked and my daughter now has a very compatible and respectful roommate with whom she enjoys living! 
 
Also, the UV staff was very accomodating in allowing us to use our own air filters to decrease my daughter's allergy issues!

After countless hours searching on-line and the better part of two days searching on foot for apartments with our daughter, our search took us to University Village, and we knew our daughter was 'home'. She and we were resigned to her living off campus in a musty, older building with off-street parking and no amenities. University Village was literally our last stop. We entered the building both hapless and hopeless, thinking we would find more of the same. University Village is different. Lorien immediately took a personal interest in our daughter's well-being, and she understands the importance of finding a compatible roommate. That, in and of itself, in a city of tens of thousands of students, was a breath of fresh air. Beyond the personal attention, the building itself is well maintained and simply awesome with its clean, bright hallways and quiet environment. The apartments are spacious and inviting, and a welcome respite at the end of a busy day in the classroom or the lab. Our daughter has lived in many places and University Village is one place she gratefully calls 'home'.

I have lived at University Village throughout my entire four year college career. The staff knew my name within my first month here and four years later, they still greet me with a warm smile. Rent prices have risen all around the area, but University Village has kept their affordable rates. UV’s convenient location has allowed me to come home between classes and the workout room has helped keep me in shape, even when it’s too cold to go outside. I recommend University Village to anyone looking for an affordable apartment, friendly staff and a convenient location.
